Overview

Acolyte of the Skin have make a pact with a powerful Fiend and have embarked upon the nefarious process of transformation into a Deamon.

Acolyte of the Skins summon powerful energies, attacking enemies with Eldritch Blast.

Acolyte of the Skins can cast spells through their connection with their patron. They can only perform a small number of spells in this way, but that's supported by the ability to endless inflict magical damage with Eldritch Blasts.

Acolyte of the Skins cannot easily switch spells at taverns or rest shrines. They are able to switch spells but to do so they must undergo a special ritual that can only be done once every few days with the help of a Acolyte of the Skin trainer.

  • A Acolyte of the Skin casts Acolyte of the Skin spells, which are drawn from the Acolyte of the Skin spell list.
  • A Acolyte of the Skin must choose and prepare his spells in advance.
  • To prepare or cast a spell, a Acolyte of the Skin must have a Charisma score equal to at least 10 + the spell level. The Difficulty Class for a saving throw against a Acolyte of the Skin's spell is 10 + the spell level + the Acolyte of the Skin's Charisma modifier.
  • Like other spellcasters, a Acolyte of the Skin can prepare only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day.
  • The Arcane Spell Failure from light armor (but not shields) is ignored by Acolyte of the Skins when casting Acolyte of the Skin spells. The Enlightened Spirit Tier IV enhancement extends this benefit to medium armor.

Class Feats[edit]

Level 1[edit]

  • Eldritch Blast: Eldritch Blast deals 1d6 damage at level 1, and increases by +1d6 at Acolyte of the Skin level 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20; for a total of 6d6 at level 20. The base damage is Force, though enhancements can change this to Evil (will affect evil enemies) or Piercing. The base Eldritch Blast scales with 130% spell power, but different shape or essences can change this percentage.
  • True Patron (Fiend): Acolyte of the Skin is granted the True Patron: Fiend.
  • Magical Training: Magical training gives the user additional benefits for spell casting.
  • Lesser Pact Attunement: You are granted bonus to pact damage and pact dice.
  • Arcane Lore: Arcane Lore represents your knowledge of the arcane and is increased at every level.

  • Deceive Item (+5): You are granted a +5 bonus to Use Magic Device; the bonus increases to +10 at Level 13.
