Enemies can make a Will save to disbelieve the spell and suffer no ill effects. If they fail the Will save, they then must make a Fortitude save or die from fear. A successful Fortitude save still results in 2 to 4 damage per caster level. Metamagic Feats may be used when casting Spell-Like Abilities at no additional cost.
