Quell
Quell are ghostly undead creatures that despised the mere concept of life and they hate the connection the living have to the deities. In essence, they hate the act of worship and their very presence of a quell isolated a worshiper from the touch of their god.
A quell can lash out at divine spellcasters of any faith, an act known as intercession, preventing them from accessing the Power. Several of them will work together and intercede against even notable powerful clerics.
Because of their unique abilities, quell are often used by necromancers to protect themselves from divine powers.
