A successful Will save negates this effect. (DC = spell's save DC - creatures Hit Dice or Level + your caster level). Even on a successful save the target still suffers 4 to 6 damage per caster level in damage. Metamagic Feats may be used when casting Spell-Like Abilities at no additional cost.
