Karrnathi Skeleton Sub Race
Overview[edit]
During the great conflict of the Last War, the five rival nations sought any advantage by which they might seize control of the throne of Galifar. Some turned to ancient forbidden magics, or experimental technology, or even sheer force of numbers. The nation of Karrnath turned to its dead.
The necromancers of Karrnath were renowned even before the war for their power over the forces of death, and the presence of the undead had grown largely accepted among Karrnath's population. During the war, the necromancers accelerated their rituals tenfold, producing great swarms of undead to unleash upon their foes.
It was during this period of unprecedented growth that a Karrnathi archmage unveiled his greatest creation: a skeleton retaining the intelligence and personality of the person it once was. Thus, the first Karrnathi Skeletons came to be.
