Description: This magical device, found in Eveningstar's hospital, seems to somehow have been altered by the magical plague afflicting the villagers. When worn by an Artificer capable of channeling energy through it, it infects them with a benign version of the disease, temporarily toughening their skin for as long as the rune arm is worn.
