Overview
Once a Monk reaches class level 3, they must choose a philosophy on how they intend to fight. These choices are elected by selecting one of two feats:
  • Path of Harmonious Balance: Fists of Light
    • You have chosen to follow the path of light
    • You seek to be at harmony with the world, and your training will reflect your philosophy
    • You can activate this ability to channel energy into your attack, dealing +15% damage and 4 to 24 additional Light damage
    • Apply a healing shield to your target which heals your allies that strike your target
  • Path of Inevitable Dominion: Fists of Darkness
    • You have chosen to follow the path of darkness
    • You seek to dominate the world, and your training will reflect your philosophy
    • You can activate this ability to channel energy into your attack, dealing 2d10 negative damage against living creatures
    • The target becomes shaken
Finishing Moves
The choice will affect enhancement choices open to you and will affect what Finishing Moves you receive, either ones that heal and help the party or ones that do more damage.
