Overview

Certain creatures have protection that allows them to ignore extra damage from critical hits or sneak attacks, which is called fortification. Armor-Piercing gives you the ability to bypass some or all of that protection. Armor-piercing only helps you against targets with fortification.

Effect

While an item with armor-piercing is equipped, you gain the ability to bypass fortification, and treat any target you attack as if its fortification were equal to its actual fortification - your armor-piercing bonus.
