Sahuagin Race
Overview[edit]
Sahuagin are a fish-like monstrous humanoid species that lives in oceans, seas, underground lakes, and underwater caves.
Although the correct term to address them as a race was sahuagin, those that fear or despised them usually called them sea devils or even more derisively, fish heads.
Sahuagin are usually green skinned; darker on the back and lighter on the belly. Many have dark stripes, bands, or spots, but these tends to fade with age. An adult male sahuagin stand roughly 6%u2009feet (1.8%u2009meters) tall and weigh about 200%u2009pounds (91%u2009kilograms). Sahuagin are highly fish-like, with webbed feet and hands, gills, and a finned tail. There is additional webbing down the back, at the elbows and, notably, also where human ears would be. Some sahuagin develop towering physiques, reaching 9%u2009feet (2.7%u2009meters) tall. The larger beings usually rise to higher positions, as the savage nature of the sahuagin enable challenges to the death for higher status.
