This policy is intended to define acceptable user names that are created on the DDO Compendium.

Character Usage[edit]

When creating a new account only letters and numbers are to be used. The use of any non-standard character is disallowed by an installed extension and will trigger an error when creating a new account.

Username Likeness[edit]

Usernames should be unique and dissimilar to other existing usernames. In addition, usernames should not imply any sort of power or capability (such as bot or admin), or a link with Dungeons & Dragons Online, Turbine, Standing Stone Games, or Daybreak Games.

Standing Stone Games Users[edit]

Users should not create accounts using forum monikers of Standing Stone Games employees. Standing Stone Games employees may create accounts using their forum monikers as they see fit. Non-employees that create accounts with a Standing Stone Games employee names will have those accounts deactivated.

Inappropriate Names[edit]

User names will not contain any wording or inferences towards profanity, racism, sexism, or hate of any type.

User names will not contain any sort of URL/URI or web address of any type.
