Overview

Rogues use stealth and a variety of masterful techniques to disarm traps, unlock doors, and take down enemies with devastating sneak attacks.

Stealthy and sly, rogues pride themselves on their skill. They are among the best at finding secret doors and traps and are the only class that can disarm traps. They can also pick locks to gain access to special areas and treasure chests.

Rogues also have a powerful ability called the sneak attack. With proper skill and strategy, they can use this to devastating effect.

Rogues make great scouts and are easily able to blend with the shadows and go undetected. Combining stealth with sneak attacking can be a powerful combination.

Bonus Feats
Rogues can select one additional feat at levels 10, 13, 16, and 19 from the list below. Skill Mastery may be taken more than once.

Class Feats[edit]

Level 1[edit]

  • Sneak Attack +1d6: This feat adds 1d6 damage when attacking enemies who are not targeting you. This feat can be used with ranged weapons within 30 ft. The damage benefit increases by 1d6 at levels 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17 and 19. Sneak Attack does not affect the undead, plants, constructs or oozes.
  • Trapfinding: Rogues can use the Search skill to locate difficult traps when the task has a Difficulty Class higher than 20.

Level 2[edit]

  • Evasion: This feat allows the character to avoid even magical and unusual attacks with great agility. If they make a successful reflex saving throw against an attack that normally deals half damage on a successful save, they will instead take no damage. A helpless character does not gain the benefit of evasion. Evasion can only be used if the character is wearing light or no armor and is not heavily encumbered.

Level 3[edit]

  • Sneak Attack +2d6: Sneak Attack damage now is equal to 2d6.
  • Trap Sense +1: This feat grants the following bonuses: +1 on reflex saving throws vs. traps and +1 Armor Class vs. trap attacks. The bonuses increase at levels 6, 9, 12, 15 and 18.

Level 4[edit]

  • Uncanny Dodge: Activate this ability to gain a temporary 25% dodge bonus and a +4 Reflex save bonus. Grants you a stacking 1% passive Dodge bonus at levels 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, and 20.
  • Uncanny Dodge (Dodge Bonus +1%): Grants you a stacking 1% passive Dodge bonus at levels 4, 6, 8, 12, 16, and 20.
  • Trapmaking: You have learned enough about traps to be able to scavenge parts from them, and with the help of the Free Agent, can craft your own. Automatically granted to rogues at level 4.
