Ooze Type

Overview

An ooze is an amorphous or mutable creature, usually mindless.

A ooze has the following features:

10-sided Hit Dice
Base attack bonus equal to 3/4 total Hit Dice
No good saving throws
If the ooze has an Intelligence score:
- Skill points equal to (2 + Intelligence modifier, minimum 1) per Hit Die
  - Multiply by 4 for first hit die
- Most oozes are mindless and gain no skill points or feats.

A ooze possesses the following traits:

Most Oozes will split into two when attacked by slashing and piercing weapons. Exceptions:
- Gray oozes
- Gelatinous Cubes
No Intelligence score
Immune to all mind-affecting effects: charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects
Blind
- Have the blindsight special quality
immune to gaze attacks, visual effects, illusions, and other attack forms that rely on sight
Immune to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, critical hits and sneak attack
